N. Reed Heflin, M.S., D.Ph., President, Chief Operating Officer and Founder, FootHill Healthcare Logistics, LLC since inception in January 2012.
His current operation specializes in procurement negotiations, clinical modeling, workflow efficiency and automation in large scale pharmacy operations. Prior to that Dr. Heflin served as President and Chief Operating Officer of PharmaCorr, LLC, a multi-site automated institutional pharmacy providing mail order services to over 300,000 institutionalized patients in 26 states. Dr. Heflin has previously served as Division Head of Infusion Services for Owen Healthcare, Inc.; Managed Health Care consultant to the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy; City Manager of PruCare of Oklahoma; and various clinical and management positions in hospital pharmacy. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Science in Management from Southern Nazarene University. He is contributing editor to three professional reference books and has co-authored a number of professional journal publications.
Willis C. Triplett, PharmD, Senior Consultant, FootHill Healthcare Logistics, LLC.
Dr. Triplett’s contributions to the organization include specialty in clinical pharmacy algorithm design; data and workflow analysis; quality initiative design and assessment; USP 797 expertise; and specialty pharmacy operations. In conjunction with his responsibilities with FootHill, Dr. Triplett is Lead Pharmacist for the Health Quality Association on Accreditation (HQAA). He has held clinical and operational leadership positions in home infusion, specialty pharmacy and hospital pharmacy. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Ohio State University and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science.
Linden A. Down, Ph.D., Project Analyst, FootHill Healthcare Logistics, LLC.
Dr. Down joined the organization immediately following graduation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering also from the University of Oklahoma. She is the recipient of an American Heart Association Pre-Doctoral Fellowship and a Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need Fellowship, and has completed internships at the Cleveland Clinic and Integris Heart Hospital both in the area of flow dynamics in artificial cardiac pumps. In her current role, Dr. Down is a technical analyst in the areas of workflow design, costing variant analysis and automation equipment queue projection. She is also deeply involved in the early design of an automated liquid dispenser for pharmaceutical use.
