PREDICTIVE MODELING

Predictive modeling is a science of statistical projection based on known historical parameters.  The realistic effects of changes to dispensing programs, automation, purchasing and clinical intervention all have costs associated with them, but the real question is what the longer term benefit will be.  FootHill personnel will make recommendations in these areas based on solid statistical analysis to provide your organization with dependable return on investment projections and payback periods. Beyond these projections, FootHill can also assist in the projection of financial outcomes as a result of changes in payment plan designs.

In closed system and “at risk” pharmacy designs, FootHill personnel have applied historical utilization trending to accurately anticipate changes in acuity of patient populations and have been successful in predicting the growth in certain disease state expenditures.  These types of analyses generally require multi-year historical trending, but are quite useful in planning the reimbursement required of these clients.
